About the role:

As the Americas Sr. Commercial Manager for Base Orders, you will oversee the full life cycle of the sales process related to the expanded Engineering Services segment. This now incorporates the Americas Training and Resource Solutions products and services. You will oversee the delivery of ~$150M of Orders Entered in 2026 with further growth in the following years. In addition, you will manage a diverse team of seven sales engineers ranging from newly hired to experienced leads. Additionally, you will manage the team of Commercial Engineers supporting base order offerings within the region, driving capture strategies, and acting as lead in engagement with Market Development and BU Customer Solution Management.

 

You will report to the Sr. Director of Global Engineered Services, Commercial. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding region targets: OE, margin as sold, pipeline growth, win/loss ratio on pertinent scope of activities for entire region and distribute targets to responsible sales engineers
  • Lead opportunity and/or delegate development sales funnel process from identification through offer development and contract closure.
  • Lead business development build agreement with local stakeholders
  • Develop / maintain technical and sales related knowledge to support full region portfolio needs within assigned business segment and product portfolios.
  • Responsible to support technical questions multiple layers deep while able to easily facilitate and guide interactions between the business segments and the customers during the sales process.
  • Oversight of Capture Strategy involves identifying opportunities. These opportunities include, but are not limited to, bundling opportunities and cross coordination of products. The goal is to present customer-oriented solutions. This oversight also involves working with Product Management and Account Management. Together, they define target price and target costs.
  • Responsible for Negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant WEC teammates including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Responsible for the management of opportunities and data within the customer relationship management tool for associated opportunities. Distributing targets to sales engineers and managing team performance.
  • Using product target plan build out specific opportunities and targeted action plans on customer by customer basis and engage internal stakeholders for buy-inEnsure quality inputs on pricing strategy and elements of small offer deal desk and offer processes within Westinghouse including presentation and obtaining buy-in from WEC key stakeholders to ensure offering meets Westinghouse target objectives and Customer needs.
  • Responsible for managing a diverse team of seven sales engineers ranging from newly hired to experienced leads.
  • Assure the quality of the commercial process within the base orders team and manage the workload of base orders preparation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience working at or with Nuclear Utilities.
  • Deep understanding of Westinghouse technologies and capabilities.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $137,700.00 to $153,000.00 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
