Supplier Performance Engineering Intern Summer 2026

About the role:

As a Supplier Performance Engineering Intern, you will work as part of a team of Engineers and Supply Chain Professionals to improve quality from our suppliers. You will collect and analyze data to identify performance trends. You will also work as part of a team to drive corrective action with our suppliers.

You will report to the WPB/OMS SPE Senior Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time remote position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Westinghouse engineers and supplier contacts to understand and analyze Quality Defect Notifications.
• Perform trend analysis of Quality Defects for group of top suppliers.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in Quality Corrective Action

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Organize, analyze and present large sets of data
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding and electronic assembly

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
