Supply Chain Engineering Intern Summer 2026

About the role:

As an APX Supply Chain Engineering Intern, you will report to the APX WBS -7, Auxiliary Equipment Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will prioritize personal, industrial, and nuclear safety in all aspects of work
• Support supplier identification, assessments, and technical evaluations
• Help with NDA/PIA processes and RFQ package development, including SAP requisitions
• Coordinate supplier proposal reviews, compliance matrix reviews, and kick‑off meetings
• Support development of manufacturing, process plans, and cost/schedule estimates
• You will help with Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) technical witness and hold points
• Coordinate supplier meetings and support project execution with cross‑functional teams
• Support purchase order changes, supplier documentation, and schedule/status reporting
• Ensure completion of supplier scope, quality releases, and QA data package archiving
• Coordinate shipment readiness and logistics with Westinghouse Logistics and project teams

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering majors
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
