Vice President, Talent Management
Cranberry Township, US
Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions? At Westinghouse, we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we seek to identify, attract and recruit the most qualified talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the global workplace.
Who we are:
Westinghouse Electric Corporation (Westinghouse) (https://westinghousenuclear.com) has a 130-year history of innovation that began when their founder, George Westinghouse, commercialized the alternating current and forever changed the way electricity was distributed. The company’s legacy continues in the nuclear era, which originated when they built the world’s first commercial pressurized water reactor in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. More than 60 years later, nearly half of the nuclear reactors in operation around the globe use Westinghouse technology.
While proud of its past, Westinghouse’s real value lies in providing a guide for the future. As the world strives to address the challenges of a changing climate, the company is constantly rethinking the way it delivers nuclear energy. Westinghouse provides nuclear technology and infrastructure development services to help the commercial nuclear electric power industry avail utility power and services. The company offers a wide range of services, including engineering, maintenance, facilities management, nuclear fuel and plant automation and operations services, helping customers keep their plants safe, reliable and efficient. From the efficient and economical AP1000® nuclear plant to the new eVinci™ microreactor for remote energy applications, Westinghouse is leading the way with the development of new nuclear technologies that will enable them to share the benefits of this reliable, clean, safe and economical source of energy for generations to come.
In 2023, Westinghouse was acquired by a consortium comprised of Brookfield and Cameco. This sale further strengthened the role that Westinghouse plays in enabling the world’s clean and secure energy goals and ensured sufficient capital to support Westinghouse’s future development and growth.
Brookfield’s global leadership across carbon-free energy technologies further positions Westinghouse and nuclear power in the clean energy transition worldwide. While Cameco brings a wealth of experience across the front-end fuel cycle, complementing Westinghouse’s robust capabilities in fabrication and services, and further enhancing security of nuclear fuel supply globally. Today, Westinghouse employs approximately 10,000 people across 21 countries.
