This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at EITHER:

  • Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area or…
  • Our Westinghouse facility in Rock Hill, SC located about 45-minutes south of Charlotte, NC.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

Contribute to the selection/development/maintenance of the WNEXUS Software Suite tools used within the GOS organization. Work with team members to intake new functional requirements, understand what is possible with existing Architecture and what is new functionality, drive standardization into the process by challenging product owners when “custom” modifications are requested.  Specific tasks will include:

  • Support the WNEXUS Software Architect and Project Manager in daily tasks by leading discussions with internal and external customers on new functionality requests.
  • Understand existing WNEXUS functionality across all applications to support efficient Data connections across applications.
  • Oversee the product backlog development of the core WNEXUS Suite Applications
  • Drive standardization into the WNEXUS product management process, through training of individuals and development of standard training material.
  • Support and deliver presentations on the WNEXUS Suite to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.

 

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
  • Required experience using the WNEXUS Applications.
  • Global Engineering (GES) related engineering field.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot functional software issues at a technical level.
  • Able to understand technologies and create requirements.
  • Understanding of of CAD software applications.

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • An understanding of Java programming is nice but not required.
