This is a hybrid wfh/onsite role based in Etna, PA. No relocation assistance is provided.

Your Day-to-Day:

In this position the Mechanical Engineer with be working with the eVinciTM Micro-reactor team design team to Design and Analyze the eVinci Components

Provide technical support for assigned work performed in the design and analysis of micro reactor components

Performing analytical calculations and evaluations of the eVinci micro reactor components using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses

Development of design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware; this includes, analyses, design specifications, and qualification reports

Work with cross function teams (i.e. manufacturing, testing, materials, systems, etc.) to solve challenging technical problems to progress the eVinci micro reactor from preliminary to final design

Interfacing with technical leads, project managers and in coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope

Occasional travel to vendors, contractors, testing sites, etc., as need to support design development
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
-
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalent required

3 years of experience; Recent Graduates encouraged to apply.

Must possess analytical skills, critical thinking, a passion for attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and task within a research and development
