About the role:
As an eVinci Engineering intern, you will work with the eVinciTM Microreactor engineering team to perform technical and reactor integration activities.
You will report to the eVinci Technical Integration Manager and be located at our Etna location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for assigned work performed in the technical integration of micro reactor systems and components
- Perform modeling and analysis using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses
- Work with departmental teams (i.e. system and component design, testing, manufacturing, or materials) to solve challenging technical problems to progress the eVinci Microreactor design
- Work with technical leads and project managers in coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope
- Work with global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and meeting schedule and financial goals
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or nuclear engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete junior year of college
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
