The Marketing Communications (MarCom) lead will develop the strategy, execution and measurement of all marketing communications activities, both digital and traditional MarCom activities in support of the business objectives.

Global Brand Management + Events/Tradeshows + Product/Service Launches and Promotion + Value Props + Customer Presentations and RFPs + Digital Media (web, social, lead gen) + Advertising + Collateral Development + Multi-media/video creation + Email Programs + Case Studies + Podcasts + Website

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Content/Deliverables
    • Provides leadership to create results-oriented, integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness and demand aligned with growth programs
    • Creates value-driven messaging, content marketing strategies and measurable outreach programs that resonate with key target audiences at all stages of the sales funnel
    • Manages the product launch process and continues to promote those products as part of a larger offering through audience-focused content and campaigns
    • Develops strategic MarCom plans in alignment with marketing and communications goals, ultimately contributing to business objectives
    • Ensures brand consistency both internally and externally
  • Effectively manages budget allocations; provides accurate forecasts; processes, tracks and reconciles supplier invoices
  • Manages agency landscape and all related projects with external and internal agencies and groups (i.e., media, creative, digital, content marketing)
  • Industry
    • Actively monitors regional industry trends and competitor activities to enable proactive development of strategies to exploit opportunities and circumvent threats. 
    • Pitches and places stories about Westinghouse as a leading global technology company
  • Analytics
    • Establishes campaign KPIs and ensure performance meets or exceeds target results
    • Uses analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, digital content and events, both virtual and in-person, and turns metrics into actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborates with product team to identify target audience segments and buyer personas and builds relevant marcom strategies to drive desired target audience behaviors
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ideate & execute specialized customer-facing collateral, per company objectives and branding guidelines
    • Liaises with internal and external parties, building positive relationships 
    • Identifies and leverages cross-business promotional opportunities
    • Positions executives and serves as spokesperson on key issues while developing and strengthening company's relationships with key 3rd parties, industry and trade reporters
    • Serves as a strategist and communications counselor to Marketing and Revenue Operations teams for both internal and external audiences on brand narrative for Westinghouse, crisis management, and creative campaigns and launches
       

Who You Are

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications preferred, business or other related field also considered
  • Minimum 8 years experience in marketing, marketing communications or content marketing
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written along with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multi-department, multi-stakeholder environment where priorities and participation shift
  • Excellent planning, organizational, project and time management skills
