This position is full time (40 hours/week) from ~May 2025 to ~August 2025. It is hybrid in nature requiring at least 3-4 days/week on-site at the 51 Bridge Street eVinci Accelerator facility in Etna, PA, and the other days telecommuting. No relocation will be provided for this position.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

· With oversight and mentoring, support the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products, processes, components, equipment, and/or systems related to eVinci microreactors.

· Perform thermal, thermal/hydraulic, and/or piping network engineering design and analysis for eVinci projects with assistance of a qualified co-author.

· Work both independently and collaboratively.

· Support engineering personnel in various design and analysis efforts.

· Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks assigned.

· Communicate with your mentors, leads, and manager on your work’s progress, status, technical issues, and schedule.

· Interface and collaborate with other personnel regarding your areas of responsibility.

· Perform work within established scope, budgetary, and schedule requirements.

 

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

· Rising Junior or Senior in a Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering BS program (Minimum 3.0 GPA).

· General knowledge of engineering and application of first principles, uncertainty treatments, and engineering tools through initial college classes.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Software suite.

· Supports the resolution of complex problems.

· Is able to effectively communicate, understand, and support cost efficient, high quality technical solutions.

· Interest in systems and/or component design and analysis, including fluid systems and/or solid-state machines and interfaces with instrumentation and control.

· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Strong teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills.

· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.

· Detail oriented.

· Highly motivated with a desire to learn and continually develop.

· This position is Pittsburgh-based, in our 51 Bridge Street
