Warehouse Procurement Specialist

WGS is seeking a highly motivated, well organized, detail oriented professional to join our warehouse group. This is a full-time local hire position located in Eunice, NM.  Duties include but not limited to strong data input skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Applicant must have strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.  Qualified personnel shall have knowledge of the daily warehouse responsibilities of the receipt, distribution, stock management and invoicing payment of warehouse materials.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Procurement/ Supply Chain Management processes and function
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Negotiation skills will be an asset
• Follow policies and procedures, use administrative documents and data sheets/forms properly
• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment
• Process Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders
• Proactively monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers
• Proactively manage on time deliveries
• Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices
• Drive cost savings and reductions
• Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Report your achievements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Maintain quality documents based on the records retention schedule
• Inventory and control of stock items
• Coordinate the return goods and freight claims
• Must be able to become qualified as a fork lift operator
• Proficient use of SAP, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is desirable
• Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements
