Planner Scheduler, Sr - Nuclear

We are searching for a Planner Scheduler, Sr – Nuclear on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2)  This is for a Mechanical Maintenance Outage planner. Familiarity with NAMS, Welding Practices, and ASME Section XI is a must.

Location:  Homestead, FL. 33035 : Per diem is available.

Responsibilities

• The Planner will be assisting in the design of planned work and design change packages.
• Conducts field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification and surveillance activities.
• Defines procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to perform planned work packages. 
• Liaisons with engineering department and/or vendors to plan work activities. 
• Knowledge of welding practices, ASME Section XI, ANI and ISI. 
• Develops work standards to support work packages. 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of planning experience in a nuclear facility, preferred;
• OR A minimum of three (3) years planning experience AND 10 years trade nuclear power experience in Engineering, Maintenance (Mechanical) or Operations.
• OR A minimum of eight (8) years of technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations.
• OR a minimum of six (6) years technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations AND a BS degree in Engineering or related physical science. 
• Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Nuclear Asset Management System (NAMS).
