Landscape Technician

Robinson is currently looking for a Landscape Technician. Robinson is located in Hartsville, SC.

In this position you will be responsible to perform duties of general support as assigned by Westinghouse and the client while on the plant site. Assignments could include fire watch, sensitive equipment monitor, emp-center admin or any other plant need position.

Maintain designated grounds and outdoor areas on site using hand tools, trimmers, edgers, weed-eaters, electric tools, gas powered tools, and equipment. Mowing areas using zero turn mowers and riding lawn mowers, operating leaf blowers, applying pesticides and fertilizers, re-seeding, de-icing roads, walkways, and entrances to buildings, clearing damaged trees.

Qualification Required:

· Must meet minimum education requirements, High School Diploma or equivalent

· Capable of lifting 50 lbs. (heavy lifting required from time to time.)

· Must have a valid State issued Driver’s License.

· Basic Computer Skills

· Training requirements for unescorted access to the nuclear facility include Radiation Worker Training (RWT).

· Proactively support Westinghouse and Duke Energy programs, policies, procedures, strategic plans, and specific goals.

· Possess good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures, and directives associated with working at a nuclear power plant.

· Commitment to personal safety and industrial safety.

· Be assertive and self-motivated, with ability to work independently or with minimum oversight.

Work Schedule

20-hour work week-Monday-Thursday operating 5-hour days during online periods. Approximately 6 months. Ability to support on-call as needed and increased work hours including overtime during outage periods.

Wage and Compensation

Pay rate shall be discussed during the interview process. Selected candidate will be eligible for contract specific benefits which include medical, dental, 401k, paid holiday, and vacation time (PTO).
