About the role:
As a Human Performance Leader you will be the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) leader for Human Performance (HU), Self-Assessment (SA), Benchmarking (BM), Operating Experience (OE), and Trending. This includes inspiring and motivating employees, building relationships, encouraging teamwork, and creating an atmosphere that encourages high performance for these programs across the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF). Provide oversight, support and maintenance of site implementing program processes, procedures, reports and tools. Support analysis of Corrective Action Program (CAP) and observation trends for identification of precursors/gaps and recommend actions to reverse negative trends. Support monthly Management Review Meetings (MRM). Perform observations and coaching to strengthen the desired behaviors. Support site assessments and projects. Assist site organizations in the identification and implementation of self-assessments, benchmarks and operating experience. Support Performance Improvement training for leaders, employees, pre-outage training and just-in-time training
You will report to the Director of EHS and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide oversight, support and maintenance for the CFFF HU, SA, BM, OE, and Trending programs, processes, reports and tools.

Provide maintenance and update of CFFF HU, Self-assessment, Benchmarking, OE, and Trending program processes, procedures, reports and tools.

Work with leaders to promote a consistent approach for HU, Self-assessment, Benchmark, OE, and Trending Programs to meet business and operational goals.

Guide the implementation and monitoring of the Human Performance (HU) program, encouraging new attitudes and new ways of thinking to promote error-prevention.

Promote use of the HU tools, share best HU practices and influence organizational leaders to provide proactive support.

Ensure understanding of Issue Review Committee (IRC) and the Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) to identify issues and trends.

Assist/partner with site organizations in implementing site self-assessments and benchmarks.

Analyze and trend Corrective Action Program (CAP) issues, observations and HU Error Clock reset data for HU precursors/gaps and recommend actions to reverse negative trends.

Support and participate in the global NSC Champion/HU monthly meeting.

Perform observations and coaching to strengthen the desired behaviors.

Support the development and delivery of HU training for team members.

Help with the development and delivery of specialized training programs to help leaders strengthen expected behaviors within their workgroups.

Communicate a quarterly HU Observation and Corrective Action Program Trend Report and Self-assessment, Benchmark and Operating Experience Report.

Support site HU, Self-Assessments, Benchmarking, and Operating Experience assessments and plans.
Qualifications:

4 year degree or equivalent experience
-
Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience required.

7+ years of Nuclear experience preferred, with experience in leadership and working knowledge of Human Performance (HU) tools, Performance Improvement (PI) processes.

Proficient in analyzing data for trends and developing actions to close identified gaps, proficient in PI programs, proficient in the use of Proficient in the use and knowledge of Corrective Action Program. Experience in Continuous Improvement and Change Management.

Coach, mentor and strengthen others, including providing constructive feedback related to improvement.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $100,800 to $126,000 per year.
