About the role:
As a Manager of Work Management, you will direct the personnel and functional organization that provides estimating, planning, resources and material coordinating for Columbia Fuel maintenance and project work.
You will report to the Director, CFFF Facilities & Work Management. and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Columbia site's Work Management (WM) program. This program plans, schedules, and implements the work week process. The process drives completion of the site's preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and planned work tasks. Additionally, it drives completion of both small- and large-scale expense and capital projects.
- Responsible for the policies, procedures, staffing and budget that underpin this process. Note: The Columbia WM process manages approximately 40K work activities of varying complexity annually
- Provide direction and oversight to the Work Week Managers, maintenance planners, work week schedulers, project planners and project schedulers
- Lead the work management planning program to develop, schedule, and implement work packages safely
- Responsible for implementation of the maintenance and project planning processes and standards
- The Maintenance and Project Planning functions use planning standards to ensure successful, cost-effective work task and project implementation.
- Ensure compliance Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) safety and environmental programs, policies, rules and regulations
- Support facility efforts to achieve world-class excellence regarding safe work practices and safety performance
- Be the Columbia's Outage manager, responsible for determining scope and driving development of the schedule and implementation plans for the site's spring and fall annual outages
- Coordinate planning efforts with multiple people/departments (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Integrated Scheduling, Contractor Oversight, Major Projects, Project Management) in a manner that supports delivery of efficient work execution
- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Columbia's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including data analytics to improve the productivity of the site's maintenance and project execution functions
- Manage the procedures implemented by the site's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Prepare necessary metrics about task planning status and planning department performance
Qualifications:
- We would consider a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- (5) years of related experience including experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects/project managers
- Knowledge of project planning and management systems, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Understanding of maintenance processes and planning required to support chemical and nuclear manufacturing, and associated facilities equipment.
- Analyze cost and scheduling information, provide forecasts and make recommendations.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
