New Grad! Electrical Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role:

As an Electrical Engineer I, you will support upgrade projects involving I&C and power activities.

You will report to the Manager for Operating Plants Electrical Engineering. This position is hybrid in at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at either the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Wood, PA located in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, or the facility based in Columbia, SC near Charlotte, NC.  We can entertain candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Implement rapid response plant modifications from the design phase through installation and startup

• Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined.

• Coordinate the efforts of designers and create personnel during implementation of projects.

• Create project schedules and budgets. Track progress and spending.

• Develop scopes of work and bid packages

• Support and work with other plant groups including Operations, Maintenance, Work Management and Reliability Engineering

• Participate in hazard and safety analysis reviews

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• Field travel to support operating plants and manufacturing

Interested in:

• Motor Control Centers

• General power layout for I&C cabinets

• NEC

• Allen Bradley – Rockwell PLC Software

• Instrumentation and transmitters

• Modbus/Profibus

• Specify equipment independently from vendor
