Principal IT Analyst

About the role:

As a Principal IT Analyst you will need to be a software quality/verification analyst that is experienced in validating/verifying software in a regulated environment with many years of experience.  Must meet the years of experience and software requirements listed.

You will report to the manager of quality engineering and be located at Columbia, SC. You will be onsite five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrator/ Owner of the software control program for CFFF.

• Programmer for multiple pieces of specialized inspection equipment.

• Provide support to existing inspection software.

• Be the liaison between supplier programmer/ analysts and Westinghouse database programmers.

• Communicate with prospective vendors and selected vendors to provide requirements, oversight and resolve issues with vendor provided software.

• Perform code reviews as part of software verification/validation.

• Provide training in software control.

• Provide training to software users.

Qualifications:

• Education Level – BS degree in Computer Science or other Science Curriculum required.

• Min Years of Experience : 10

• Previous experience validating/verifying software in a regulated environment.    

• Experience RS-232 communication

• C++/C#

• Oracle and SQL

• Python

• Microsoft Power BI
