Your Day-to-Day:

As a New Product Process Development (NPPD) Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for manufacturing implementation of new products and performance-driven process changes.  Related functions include:

• Work with product development teams for manufacturing implementation of new product designs
• Provide cost and schedule estimates in support of development program scoping and eventual quotation
• Work with the Product Design and Product Assurance Engineers to ensure manufacturability and inspectability of new designs
• Review product drawings to ensure Design for Manufacturability principals are incorporated and the new designs are compatible with existing manufacturing processes
• Develop and qualify processes, tooling, and equipment for new product designs to ensure long term manufacturability and process yields
• Fabricate components in support of new product testing
• Coordinate release and/or revision of manufacturing and product assurance documentation, MES routings, and software in preparation for test component fabrication and production startup
• Assure processes developed for new products are capable of meeting all design requirements

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• Minimum 8 years applicable experience
