About the role:
As a Senior Global Material Planner you will managing the inventory replenishment strategies for the Westinghouse fuel facilities using processes to exceed companies’ goals. You will work directly with Westinghouse global teams, e.g. Master & Production schedulers, Global Supply Chain Solutions, Global SIOP Team, Supplier Quality and have a direct working relationships with supplier(s). You will support multiple tasks, requiring building of interpersonal relationships throughout all levels and responsibilities within the business and suppliers. You will be 90% remote and 10% onsite.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Global Planning and Scheduling and be supported remotely with 10% requirement to visit the Columbia, SC site for meetings
Key Responsibilities:

Manage Supplier Replenishment into our Global Manufacturing and Assembly sites (5)

Develop replenishment plans that support inventory and delivery goals

Maintain Data in the MRP System and Supplier Portal to ensure delivery of material

Work with the Global Inventory, Operations Planning, and Supply Chain Teams

Lead or participate in special projects related to Supplier Replenishment and Material Planning
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in one or more (or combination of) the following areas: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials Management, or Logistics.

APICS CPIM.certification. Must be achieved during tenure if not certified.

MRP experience, could be SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro

Must have experience planning material through an MRP system.

Team work skills. .

Demonstrated, experience in interpreting and document complex business systems.

ERP, Business Intelligence systems or equivalent and Microsoft Word, Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint & Power BI development and reporting.
