About the role:

As a Senior Planner you will create, maintain, and release bills of materials (BOMs) and associated documentation to support planning, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering functions. You will ensure that customer product configuration data is accurate and compliant with internal standards and customer requirements. We ask that you can collaborate across technical and operational teams.

 

You will report to the Product Data Management Lead and be located at Columbia, SC. Remote Opportunity. We are looking for occasional attendance at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility, so you must be local to Columbia, SC.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain SAP BOMs for nuclear fuel products and core components
  • Review engineering documentation, specifications, and change notices to ensure BOMs accurately represent the intended product configuration
  • Release BOMs and related documentation in alignment with production schedules and project milestones
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, data governance policies and quality assurance requirements
  • Value the prevention of errors using human performance tools
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy, streamline workflows, and reduce rework
  • Maintain proper documentation and traceability for all Product Data Management activities
  • Occasionally assist with emergent issues outside regular work hours

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5 years experience in one of the following: Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Materials Management
  • Must have experience planning through an MRP system
  • SAP experience required

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
