About the role:

Long-term contract for a Technical Assistant – LEU+ Construction. You will provide administrative, technical, and field‑support functions across the LEU+ Construction organization. Hopkins, SC (CFFF) – 100% Onsite

Report To: LEU+ Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary

The Technical Assistant – LEU+ Construction provides administrative, technical, and field‑support functions across the LEU+ Construction organization—supporting Construction Management, Superintendent, Contracts, Quality, and Safety/Permit functions. You will maintain documentation, schedules, field records, contract and permit information, and supports compliance with Westinghouse procedures and regulatory requirements.

Your Day‑to‑Day

· Help update project schedules and look‑ahead plans.

· Support ITPs, drawings, and construction documentation.

· Support daily field documentation including progress and safety records.

· Coordinate communication with Construction Contractor, subcontractors, and other teams.

· Support Quality Manager with supplier documentation and inspection record tracking.

· Track safety walkdowns, observations, and corrective actions.

· Support permit applications, approvals, and associated documentation.

· Assist Contracts team with contract files, change orders, and invoice support.

· Prepare meeting materials and reporting input

Qualifications:

· Associate degree or technical diploma in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

· 1–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or technical support.

· Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and field documentation.

· Work in radiological environments after training.

· Pass a background check for a nuclear fuel fabrication facility.

· Preference for candidates with OSHA 30-Hour Construction training

· Preference for candidates with OSHA 510/511 training.
