About the role:

As a Work Management Principal Scheduler you will maintain Primavera (P6) project schedules throughout multiple stages of the project life cycle.  The CFFF WM department executes the work management process of identifying, prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and providing oversight for all execution activities within the work week, which spans tasks related to preventive maintenance, operator maintenance, repairs, capital projects, small engineering modification projects, outages, and contractor work. The P6 Project Scheduler supports the WM process through schedule development and creation, earned value management, report generation, forecasting, and applied resource loading for multiple capital and engineering projects, and biannual site outages. Have engineering/construction lifecycle scheduling and project experience, is proficient in Primavera P6, can work remotely with teams from all backgrounds and can complete tasks promptly.

You will report to the Manager of Work Management and be located at Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with different employees and multiple departments to provide/gather updates on projects from the activities that are in the project schedules.

  • Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers for assigned projects across the facility.

  • Produce reports, assisting with control activities, responding to data requests and developing and supporting project schedules and detailed cost tracking.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to obtain weekly and monthly cost and schedule updates.

  • Assist the Project Managers in providing accurate project forecasting and review of expenditures.

  • Support schedule control and management for biannual facility outages.

  • Supports scheduling/WM team by running database reports on a daily/weekly frequency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in construction project management, or engineering

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in scheduling.

  • Must have experience with Primavera P6 and understand the critical path method.

  • Must understand engineering/construction lifecycle scheduling within nuclear or manufacturing industries.

  • Certification of completion for P6 training.

  • Must have advanced MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) skills.

  • Familiarity with data analytics reporting tools..

  • Display a team-minded approach.
