Global Shared Services Site manager responsible for standing up and management of physical facility.  As the local point of contact for the center, the Site manager of the Global Shared Service will be involved in initial coordination and setup of the new Poland site, as well as day-to-day operational management (e.g., overseeing the facility, ensuring operations are running in accordance to health and safety requirements and established service level agreements, providing personnel support in partnership with HR).


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Shared Service stand up and manage physical Global Shared Services facility in accordance with Westinghouse safety protocols
  • Serve as Poland Legal Entity signatory authority
  • Serve as export controls liaison between Poland operations and Westinghouse Corporate, Legal, and Compliance teams
  • Facilitate and support recruiting and hiring (with support from HR and input from customer function, as needed)
  • Monitor and provide input on the Global Shared Service annual budget
  • Monitor day to day productivity for all teams
  • Ensure compliance to policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and run continuous improvement initiatives as needed
  • Serve as service escalation manager in Global Shared Service across functions
  • Collaborates and maintains communication with a wide variety of stakeholders within the organization
  • Establish quality control mechanisms such as client surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedures
  • Oversee budget and chargeback process for GSS cost center
  • Represent Company towards external stakeholders in Poland (external relation)


Education and Qualifications:

  • University degree in business administration and/or management, human resources, finance, or related business field
  • 8-10 Years of Experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (e.g., analysis and report outs to senior management)
  • Ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in performance management and reporting
  • Experience with continuous improvement is ideal
  • Previous experience of managing and implementing a GBS would be an asset
  • Good understanding of what it takes to create and maintain a strong internal control environment, including familiarity with SOX
  • Strong customer service focus
  • The ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced global company
  • Knowledge and understanding of enabling technology typically used within business services organization
  • Project Management experience, including playing a leadership role in delivering success
  • Experience in leading transformative change, supporting the functions in delivering process efficiencies through standardization, simplification, and automation.
  • Experience on external relation and stakeholder management in Poland
