Account Management Analyst

The Account Management Analyst serves a key role in supporting the Account Management team with data, reporting and tool development to support planning and communication with the BU and GSCS functions. This role is a key conduit to ensure the smooth flow of information, supporting alignment on priorities and strategies between the Business Unit (BU) and the GSCS (Global Supply Chain Solutions) Team are clearly understood and executed.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze supply chain data.
- Recommend improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other professionals to implement changes and new systems.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:
- BA/BS degree preferred in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or other Technical field with a strong academic record.
- 0-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and listening skills
- Must be adaptive, flexible, and able to function effectively in a highly-complex global environment with a proven ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office applications required (familiarity with statistical packages and/or SQL a plus)
- Experience with analyzing large amounts of data
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills
- Experience with executing advanced and predictive analytics
- Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Business Warehouse, SAP
- Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
