Business Analyst - SAP/D365

Act as techno-functional resource to support the SAP, Business Warehouse (BW) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications for the Finance team.  

Responsibilities:

SAP

• Serve as one member of the monthly closing team, which requires one week a month (always around the last week of the month or first week of following month) to work a modified shift beginning at 5:00 PM EST (11:00 PM CET).
• Duties would be to run the monthly closing packages in SAP, monitor workflow process and communicate to Finance team, over required nights.
• Normal work tasks would occur on non-closing weeks at regular business hours. Schedule will be communicated in advance.

D365

• Support the Commercial Center of Excellence (CCoE) team as a techno-functional resource in the area Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Act as main end user support for questions related to Microsoft D365.  This includes answering end user questions/emails, developing training materials, recommending process improvements, etc.
• Coordinate business resources for testing, validation, and sign-off of new functionality in existing reports, as well as new projects
• Provide end-user support in the form of defining report requirements, user training and communication as needed.
• Ability to gather and refine business requirements from stakeholders and D365 users, advising stakeholders and end-users on how to streamline existing systems optimally and guiding future goals and requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to design and implement solutions in D365 to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with D365 developers and stakeholders to analyze and fix root cause issues
• Write functional specifications, test scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing for D365

BW

• Work with Financial Systems and Data team.
• Interact frequently with BW developers, internal customers, and management to clearly identify and articulate the business needs and translate them to the IT group for Finance and Results Analysis areas.
