Delivery Stream Engineer

As the Senior Engineer, WBS-2 Structural Modules Delivery Stream, you will support the successful procurement, delivery, and turnover of structural module equipment across projects within the APX Large Structures portfolio. This role is responsible for coordinating technical, procurement, supplier development, and delivery execution activities across the full lifecycle, including pre-purchase order planning, purchase order placement, purchase order execution, final delivery, and customer turnover. 

Responsibilities include supporting cross-functional issue resolution, coordinating supplier readiness and oversight activities, providing technical input to procurement and supplier execution decisions, and helping ensure supplier performance aligns with project cost, schedule, quality, and customer commitments. This position requires strong technical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work across organizational boundaries in support of AP1000 project delivery.

You will report to the Senior Manager, WBS-2 Structural Modules and will be located in Krakow, Poland. You will work in hybrid model with 2 days at office.

Responsibilities:

Supplier Development & Procurement Planning

• Support pre-purchase order and post-purchase order procurement planning activities to promote supplier readiness, execution certainty, and predictable delivery performance.
• Provide technical input for supplier identification, evaluation, down-selection, and commercial negotiation support.
• Review technical, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements and help translate them into clear supplier execution expectations.
• Coordinate execution planning activities with APX Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Performance Engineering, Project Management, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Support supplier proposal reviews, technical evaluations, compliance matrix reviews, and readiness assessments to support award recommendations.

Supplier Management

• Support cost, schedule, quality, and delivery performance through supplier management, technical coordination, and proactive issue resolution.

• Develop agendas, action trackers, and supporting materials for supplier kick-off meetings and key execution reviews.

• Facilitate recurring supplier and internal execution meetings, ensuring risks, decisions, commitments, and recovery actions are documented and tracked.

• Support supplier oversight planning in partnership with Supplier Performance Engineering, including oversight plans, witness and hold points, readiness reviews, and escalation criteria.

• Coordinate resolution of supplier submittal, specification, manufacturing, quality, and interface issues by engaging appropriate Westinghouse technical resources.

• Track supplier commitments following purchase order or contract award, including technical change management, contract execution support, and recovery planning.

• Provide schedule insight, delivery risk updates, and project status inputs in accordance with project requirements.

• Support completion of required supplier purchase order scope, including fabrication, testing, documentation, technical closeout, and applicable turnover requirements.

• Coordinate with suppliers and Westinghouse Quality Assurance to ensure Quality Releases, Quality Assurance Data Packages, and related technical documentation support shipment and customer turnover commitments.

• Coordinate with Westinghouse Logistics, Project Management, and customer-facing teams to support shipment planning, risk mitigation, and final delivery execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering; advanced degree or professional engineering credentials

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in engineering, procurement, project management, manufacturing, supplier development, or a related technical field.

• Experience with AP1000, nuclear-grade fabrication, large structural modules, pressure boundary components, or other complex engineered equipment would be benficial

• Experience in supporting sound technical decisions in supplier, project, manufacturing, and customer environments.

• Experience working with teams and influencing partners without direct reporting authority.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical, commercial, and delivery risks to project teams, management, and customer partners.

• Experience defining problem statements, support execution strategies, guide assigned actions, and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to management.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be11,416 to 14,266 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance
