As The Director, Total Rewards – EMEA you will ensure that global Total Rewards strategies align globally and complete across the EMEA region to support our goals, talent attraction, and employee retention.

You will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards and HR Systems. You will be the regional owner for compensation, health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans, working with global Total Rewards leaders to apply enterprise frameworks while tailoring solutions to local markets, regulatory environments, and workforce needs.

You will partner with EMEA business leaders and EMEA HR country partners. Serving as a trusted advisor and solution provider on Total Rewards matters, the Director ensures programs remain compliant and aligned with our priorities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Global Strategy Alignment & Regional Governance·

    • Partner the global Total Rewards leaders to align EMEA Total Rewards practices with global strategy, principles, and governance.

    • Translate global Total Rewards frameworks into locally compliant, market‑competitive programs across EMEA.

    • Provide regional insights on market trends, regulatory developments, and practices to inform global strategy and decision‑making.

    • Ensure program governance, documentation, and consistent application of Total Rewards policies across the region.

  • Country & Leadership Partnership

    • Work with HR Country Partners across EMEA to support local execution of compensation and benefits programs.

    • Work with EMEA business leaders and HR leadership, providing trusted advisory support and practical solutions.

    • Align Total Rewards programs with local workforce strategies, hiring needs, and retention goals.

    • Lead regional implementation, communication, and change management efforts related to Total Rewards programs.

    • Support Total Rewards due diligence and integration activities for regional growth or M&A projects.

    • Improve, efficiency, and scalability in Total Rewards delivery across EMEA.

    Global Compensation Programs

    • In partnership with the global Total Rewards team and HR country partners, help implement the EU Pay Transparency Directive and ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements.

    • Partner with global Total Rewards program leaders to support annual Total Rewards cycles across the EMEA region, ensuring regional execution and agreement on enterprise frameworks.

    • Guide the implementation of job architecture enhancements across the EMEA region, ensuring understanding and application of the global grading model.

    • Provide expertise and counsel on job evaluations and compensation offers where required.

    UK Pension Strategy & Administration

    • Lead the UK pension strategy, governance, and ongoing administration, being the primary regional subject‑matter expert.

    • Manage end‑to‑end pension responsibilities, including plan design, compliance, vendor oversight, and operational execution.

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK pension legislation and regulatory requirements, including auto‑enrolment, governance, and reporting obligations.

    • Partner with UK HR Country Partners to support administration, employee communications, and education.

    • Lead annual pension reviews and continuous improvement projects.

    EMEA Health & Welfare and Retirement Program Leadership

    • Lead health and welfare and retirement programs across EMEA countries.

    • Oversee annual benefits renewals, implementation, and ongoing management, including medical, life, disability, wellbeing, and retirement plans.

    • Ensure understanding and adherence to mandatory/statutory benefits requirements in each country.

    • Support the design and rollout of supplementary benefits aligned with global strategy and local market needs.

    • Ensure programs remain, cost‑effective, and aligned with talent and our priorities.

    Vendor Management & Compliance

    • Manage relationships with benefits vendors, insurers, brokers, administrators, and consultants across the region.

    • In partnership with global Total Rewards leaders, support vendor selection processes, negotiations, renewals, and ongoing performance management.

    • Ensure financial discipline, service quality, and risk mitigation across all vendor arrangements.

    • Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and external advisors to manage compliance, audits, and regulatory changes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree

  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards leadership, with responsibility for Total Rewards programs within a multinational or regional EMEA environment.

  • Demonstrated depth in pension governance, regulatory compliance, and ongoing administration, including hands‑on ownership of country‑level pension arrangements in regulated environments.

  • Experience managing retirement plans with complex legislative and governance requirements, including vendor oversight and operational accountability.

  • Experience with EMEA statutory and supplementary benefits frameworks, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical program solutions.

  • Experience operating within global Total Rewards frameworks and matrixed organizations, balancing global consistency with local market execution.

  • Experience engaging, influence, and advise senior HR and business leaders, serving as a trusted partner and solution provider.

  • Financial and commercial experience, including cost management, renewals, and vendor negotiations.

  • Experience managing complex, multi‑country vendor landscapes and external advisors.

  • Experience balancing global strategy alignment with local market flexibility.

  • Technical expertise in compensation, health & welfare, and retirement programs

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 34,500 to 43,120 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
