The AP Technology Deployment group is looking for one AP1000 Project Engineer II (experienced Junior) for supporting exciting Plant opportunities. As an Engineer, you will be part of one of our AP1000 Project Engineering teams. These teams are located in our Westinghouse offices, either in Warsaw or Krakow. You will report to Supervisory Engineer. Your work will engage a vast set of nuclear power plant design topics. This is a hybrid model of the work with 2 days at office.

You will be a part of our team, which works for a long-term strategy for Poland. This strategy is to develop in-country licensing support, providing a solid growth opportunity. This opportunity is for those looking to develop as a technical leader or business leader. Our support will go beyond one specific discipline, spanning the new nuclear reactor design. Additionally, it will help develop a large network within Westinghouse.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess incoming customer requests, develop response plan.

  • Compile existing technical design information across multiple technical areas into reports.

  • Work with different engineering groups and other departments involved in a new build project to lead the delivery of engineering commitments on time and with the appropriate quality.

  • Support different aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in several countries in Europe but also globally.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience in Engineering, Project Engineering or Project Management.

  • Availability to travel internationally as projects require (up to 25% for peak times).

  • Fluent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

  • Build and leverage strong networks across teams to enhance collaboration and achieve shared objectives.

  • Interest in the nuclear industry

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
