The Nuclear Fuel Logistics Category Specialist will support the Global Business Development Manager in building strategy and Business Development activities. You will work together with the Nuclear Fuel Transport representatives at each of the Fuel Fabrication sites. You will also partner with the Nuclear Fuel CAMS / Business Project Managers and Customer Integration Engineers / Managers to provide the required Nuclear Fuel Logistics scope for all projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Management program from beginning to operational execution on building project outcomes and deliverables, including cost estimates, quotations, and proposals following the quality management process.
- Help the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development Manager coordinate the communication between Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel project managers and the teams responsible for transportation, packaging, and regulatory services.
- Help ensure that we involve Global Logistics (GSCS) early in project planning and costing, and help facilitate supplier contract preparations whenever we require Nuclear Fuel Transport scope.
- Prepare and communicate project milestone updates and risks for partners
- Provide support to the team to help manage Nuclear Fuel Transport Projects
- Support the Nuclear Fuel Logistics Project Management workload by assisting the Business Development Manager with resource allocation and resolving obstacles to progress up until the point of operational execution.
- Work directly with Westinghouse external customers to support team leaders
- Provide LOA input for Nuclear Logistics Scope – costs, supplier options, packaging options and load and logistics plans
- Help create the packaging and transport scope language for nuclear fuel sales contracts
- Review the Nuclear Fuel Business Plan to identify which projects require what scope of transportation, packaging and regulatory services. Coordinate that data into a Global Logistics Support Plan, ensuring Global Logistics goals align directly with the Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Business Plan.
- Help prepare Risk Assessments across the Nuclear Fuel Transport projects, or support their preparation, up until the point of operational execution.
- Advise Category Leads relating to the Global Sourcing / Supplier Management aspects of the Nuclear Fuel Transport activities.
- Advise Category Leads relating to creating Supplier Contracts / Agreements for Nuclear Fuel packaging and transport projects
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in areas of Logistics, Business, or similar discipline
- 3 years of procurement or global transport experience
- Experience negotiating, benchmarking, and in market analysis
- Project Procurement Management skills
- Experience with vendor management including supplier contract administration
- Experience leading communication at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships
- Ability to amicably resolve disputes with suppliers
- Demonstrate strategic problem‑solving and creative insight, paired with disciplined, effective prioritization, and strong self‑leadership.
- Maintain long term productive relationship with suppliers (SRM)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with managing data and workflows in a database environment
- Availability to travel 10%
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 7,333 to 9,133 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
