Network Engineer

Reporting to the Network Operations Supervisor, as Engineer - Networking you will perform operational responsibilities as part of the Network Operations team. This involves operational support of our global network, vulnerability remediations and working out of our service queue. You will work in hybrid mode with 2 days at the office.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve incidents out of the network operations ticketing queue.

• Work through vulnerability remediations

• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.

• Support network monitoring and performance optimization.

• Help with the response to priority incidents

• Collaborate with senior engineers on network improvement projects.

• Support network monitoring

• Help implement network automation

• Ensuring redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team where needed

• Perform any other related tasks prioritized by the Network Services Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering or related field

• Experience in a complex, global engineering and manufacturing organization

• High level of understanding in the network, telecom and firewall fields

• Experience in project managing small projects

• Experience delivering highly complex, global programs and projects

• Open to travel once or twice a year for projects or team building sessions

• 3+ years' experience hands-on support and troubleshooting of networks

• Proficient in Cisco routers and switches, experience in Arista switches and Cloud Vision Portal.

• Familiarity with Nexus switches, Python, and SolarWinds network configuration manager (NCM), Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager, Cisco Prime/DNA, Cisco/Arista Wireless, and Cisco SDWAN,

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month.
In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
