As a Disaster Recovery & Compliance Lead you will be responsible for ensuring the resilience, recoverability, and operational compliance of the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) organization. You will oversee enterprise disaster recovery (DR) strategy, compliance governance, risk management, and the alignment of I&O operations with internal policies. You combine technical expertise with a disciplined approach to process, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:

Disaster Recovery
-
Manage the infrastructure Disaster Recovery strategy, ensuring agreement on business and technology.

Maintain an up-to-date infrastructure DR plan, RTO/RPO targets, and system recovery documentation.

Lead DR planning and validation across multiple teams within the IT organization.

Partner with application and service owners to ensure you embed DR requirements into solution architecture and define appropriate tiering.

Provide guidance and training to technical teams on DR requirements, compliance responsibilities, and best practices.

Drive continual improvement of DR posture, operational controls, and documentation quality.

Help develop business disaster recovery plans by collaborating with stakeholders to document critical processes, identify dependencies, define recovery strategies, and ensure agreement on organizational continuity requirements.

Accomplish periodic enterprise‑wide infrastructure DR walkthroughs and tests by coordinating partners, validating recovery procedures, documenting results, and following through on lessons learned.

Support periodic business and application DR walkthroughs and tests, including planning, coordinating stakeholders, documenting results, and driving remediation to ensure RTO/RPO goals are met.
Compliance

Partner with internal compliance team to create and maintain governance documentation such as policies, standards, procedures, and control evidence repositories across the infrastructure teams.

Coordinate compliance across I&O teams, ensuring consistent controls and continue improvement.

Track, escalate, and fix compliance gaps, exceptions, risks, and overdue control items.

Collaborate with application owners to draft and validate BPO agreements, ensuring agreement on infrastructure, regulatory, and our requirements.

Periodically review I&O compliance processes, controls, and procedures to confirm they meet internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards.

Qualifications:
-
BS in Information Systems or similar degree or equivalent experience
-
5+ years experience in varying IT infrastructure or application roles
-
Understanding of enterprise systems, with hands-on experience across at least 3 technology systems, including network, virtualization, storage, and backup, applications.

Familiar with system backup strategies and requirements

Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery planning and/or testing execution

Working knowledge of IT compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC, SOX).

Experience with audit processes, control testing, and risk management methodologies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Highly structured and detail‑oriented, with a strong commitment to clear, accurate, and well‑maintained documentation.

Ability to collaborate with and coordinate work with multiple teams.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 13,916 to 17,350 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
