As a GSS Project Controls Team Leader you will be responsible for the ongoing development of project controls processes. This role focuses on all project controls ERP systems. You will be responsible for service level agreements review, lead major improvement programs, streamline current processes, drive standardization, and optimization of newly transitioned processes (also using previous experience). You will also support Project Management Leadership Team with initiatives as required. This role is a people manager position with a task-based contract.
You will report to GSS Order Entry, Project Controls, & Poland Site Manager.
This is a hybrid role - 2 days per week in the Kraków office, the remaining days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to data collection that optimizes efficiencies and data quality. Additionally, provides input on design and development of a standard set of SAP templates. Furthermore, analyzes and interprets data to guarantee a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness.
- Create and update job aids to align with current process, and deliver internal trainings for project management community
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Identify data issues and collaborate with PMO group to drive data governance
- Identify gaps in current data entry processes and drive strategic solutions for partners needs
- Lead major projects, ad hoc tasks, meetings, and calls
- Support Project Management Leadership Council to drive process improvements
- Provide technical expertise and guidance for project controls processes
- Hold thorough an extensive knowledge of project controls principles, corresponding processes
- As a people manager create development plans, performance objectives
- Hold team meetings, 1-2-1 meetings and ad hoc meetings with subordinates
- Motivate the team to deliver high quality service
- Allocate work across the team, mentor team members and develop subject matter experts
- Participate in team capacity planning and in the recruitment process, maintains team's attrition level according to the annual objective
- Responsible for team's service delivery according to SLA's
Qualifications:
- B.A., B.S. in Business or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience
- Proven track record with respect to knowledge of financial processes, controls, and associated improvement programs
- A general understanding of Westinghouse systems, data quality needs, and industry
- Communicates with clarity, delivers impactful presentations, and leads effectively to drive results.
- Experience in working effectively in a team environment.
- Applies strong organizational discipline to prioritize workloads, manage time, and balance multiple tasks.
- Applies a detail‑focused, analytical approach to solve problems while delivering timely, results‑oriented outcomes.
- Proficient in SAP PS, MS Office, and other software packages
- Maintains agility and flexibility while navigating evolving project demands
- Brings a continuous improvement mindset, combining process discipline and a focus on quality with strong business insight and people leadership capabilities.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 13,916 to 17,350 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
