Project Engineer I

The AP Technology Deployment group is looking for one AP1000 Project Engineer I (Junior) for supporting new Plant opportunities. As an engineer, you will be part of one of our AP1000 Project Engineering teams. These teams are located in our Westinghouse offices, either in Warsaw or Krakow. Your work will engage a vast set of nuclear power plant design topics. This effort supports Westinghouse International's new build market development and capture.

Engineers are a part of our long-term strategy for Poland to develop in-country licensing support. We provide a solid development opportunity for those looking to develop as a technical leader or business leader.

Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming customer requests, develop response plan.

• Compile existing technical design information across multiple technical areas into reports.

• Work with several engineering groups and other departments involved in a new build project to guide the delivery of engineering commitments on time and with the appropriate quality.

• Support different aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various countries in Europe but also globally.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering.

• +6 months of experience in Engineering, Project Engineering or Project Management.

• Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to +/- 25% for peak times).

• Fluent English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas.

• Interested in the nuclear industry and eager to learn.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 7,333 to 9,133 PLN gross per month.  In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
