SAP Functional Configuration Senior Analyst - Sales & Distribution

The SAP ECC Functional Configuration Senior Analyst – Sales & Distribution (SD) has experience in complex sales order processing, master data, sales tax, and billing with e-Invoicing. This analyst will be responsible for configuration, implementation, and support of SAP SD projects within our multi-system landscape. You will need to have a detailed understanding of all aspects of SAP SD, including its integrations with FI, MM, and PS. You will report to SAP Supervisor.

This is a role based in Poland, you will work in hybrid model at Krakow office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all change requests across SD, partnering with Business Process Owners and the SAP COE to prioritize work and assign testers.

• Lead workshops to discover, analyze, define, and document global requirements. These workshops result in the development of blueprints, process flows, decisions, and functional specifications according to SAP best practices and Westinghouse standards. Partner with SAP Architects, peer SAP Process Leads, Security, BASIS, and partners. Together, design solutions in consideration of SAP best practices and company standards.

• Design and implement system changes while reviewing designs for export control and compliance risks.·

• Perform and oversee SD configuration, unit testing, and integration testing for all enhancements and system changes (including ad-hoc query/reports). Record all testing per Westinghouse standards.·

• Ensure adherence to compliance, export control, data privacy, and data migration standards.

• Complete and maintain all required solution documentation in ChaRM and Solution Manager, such as process flows.

• Develop initial training materials. Collaborate with the SAP Testing & Training team for further editing. Then, transition final materials for them to deliver training. Additionally, be responsible for knowledge transfer to the SAP support team for new system functionality.

• Engage directly with our users to resolve issues, improve system usage, and support escalations from the SAP support team. Will be responsible for issue resolution during hyper care.

• Provide process guidance based on expertise and best practices; offer backup support across other SAP modules.

• Lead small cross-functional SAP projects and enhancements, coordinating with SAP development/BASIS/Security and other technical teams to provide an on-time, on-budget, on-spec delivery.

• Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, and evaluate impacts of new SAP functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of SAP ECC Sales & Distribution configuration experience with SAP Sales and Distribution with Customer Master, Material Master, and Tax emphasis. Hands-on configuration in SD is a must.

• At least 3 Full Cycle Sales and Distribution with E-Invoicing Implementation, including hands-on EDOC configuration with collaboration with (Cloud) DRC

• Hands-on configuration and user experience in SAP Sales and Distribution, full cycle order-to-cash processes

• Experience with SD sales order, delivery, billing milestone-based billing, complex billing within EMEA including tax rules and electronic invoicing (EDI or similar).

• Experience with Multiple Source Data Analysis using tools including SQVI & Excel

• Experience in SmartForm design and output control.

• Ability to understand technical requirements, translating to non-technical to communicate effectively with end-users

• Knowledge of SAP security roles as it pertains to SD and SOX compliance.

• Experience with Resource Related Billing, Vertex or other tax engine is a plus.

• Experience with export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is a plus.

• Experience in the nuclear or controlled material industry is a plus.

• Experience identifing and resolving deep seated technical issues.

• Experience with SAP development processes (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and back-up and recovery)

• Experience with S/4 HANA is a plus.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 13,916 to 17,350 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
