SAP Lead - Project Systems

The SAP Lead – Project Systems will be responsible for configuration, implementation, and support of SAP PS within our multi-system landscape. You will need to have a detailed understanding of all aspects of SAP PS. This includes Engineer To Order, Resource Capacity Planning, Project Manufacturing, Scheduling, Results Analyses, and cross-modular integrations with PS. This is a role based in Poland, you will work in hybrid model at Krakow office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all change requests across SAP PS, partnering with Business Process Owners and the SAP COE to prioritize work and assign testers.

• Lead workshops to discover, analyze, define and document global requirements; develop blueprints, process flows, main decisions, and functional specifications according to SAP best practices and Westinghouse standards

• Partner with SAP Architects, peer SAP Process Leads, Security, BASIS, and partners to design solutions with care for SAP best practices and company standards.

• Design and implement system changes while reviewing designs for export control and compliance risks.

• Perform and oversee configuration, unit testing, and integration testing for all enhancements and system changes (including ad-hoc query/reports). Record all testing per Westinghouse standards.

• Ensure adherence to compliance, export control, data privacy, and data migration standards.

• Complete and maintain all required solution documentation in ChaRM, Solution Manager

• Develop initial training materials, collaborate with the SAP Testing & Training team for further editing, and transition final materials for them to deliver training

• Responsible for knowledge transfer to the SAP support team for new system functionality

• Engage directly with users to resolve issues, improve system usage, and support escalations from the SAP support team. Will be responsible for issue resolution during hypercare.

• Provide process guidance based on expertise and best practices; offer backup support across other SAP modules.

• Lead small SAP projects and enhancements, coordinating with SAP development/BASIS/Security and other technical teams to provide an, on-budget, on-spec delivery.

• Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, and evaluate impacts of new SAP functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) and adjacent areas

• Hands-on configuration and user experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) and adjacent areas (Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, HCM, Controlling)

• Experience with Engineer To Order, Resource Capacity Planning, Project Scheduling, Project Controlling, Cross Application Time Sheets (CATS)

• Knowledge of SAP security roles as it pertains to SAP Project Systems (PS)

• Experience with Results Analysis, Forecasting, Profitability Analysis, Manufacturing, Resource Related Billing, interfaces and cross-modular integration.

• Experience with export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and in the nuclear or controlled material industry is a plus.

• Debugging experience and ability to resolve deep seated technical issues.

• Experience with SAP development processes (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and back-up and recovery)

• Experience with S/4 HANA is a plus.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 13,900 to 17,350 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
