The Senior Application Developer provides advanced software engineering expertise to develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications used across multiple Westinghouse departments. You will lead technical solution design, drives development standards, and ensure delivered solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
You will partner with U.S.-based Application Developers, product owners, and team members to translate requirements into technical approaches and working software. We are looking for proficiency with Agile delivery, SDLC best practices, object-oriented design, HTTP standards, and full stack development (applications, databases, and servers).
In addition to hands-on development, the Senior Application Developer mentors junior developers and reviews code. The Senior Application Developer also improves CI/CD pipelines and identifies opportunities to reduce operational risk, improve performance, and increase overall product quality. We expect the Senior Developer to work with ambiguous requirements, to ask the right questions early, and to independently manage priorities and delivery commitments.
Responsibilities:

Develop existing enterprise application(s) supported by the team, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.

Lead technical design and implementation for new applications and feature enhancements

Drive requirements refinement with partners and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks via Azure DevOps

Ensure application support activities meet SLA targets, including on-call support, incident response, and continuous improvement of operational runbooks

Define and promote development standards (coding, testing, security, documentation) and mentor junior developers through pairing, code reviews, and technical guidance

Follow and help improve Westinghouse standards and controls within your responsibilities, including secure development practices, change management, and audit/compliance requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

5+ years of relevant experience

Full stack development experience (web UI, APIs, databases)

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization

Expertise with C# and .NET 8+ ASP.NET(Core) for building and maintaining web applications and APIs

Experience building front-end applications with Angular 20+

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) for CI/CD and release management

Familiarity with IIS and deploying/supporting web applications in IIS (configuration, bindings, certificates, and troubleshooting)Ability to lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor other developers

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to lead root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes

Experience in work directly with business stakeholders

Commitment to secure development practices and high-quality delivery

Fluency in written and spoken English

Availability to work 2 days per week in Krakow office
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 11,416 to 14,266 PLN gross per month.
In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
