Senior Engineer - Firewall

Reporting to the Supervisor of Network Segmentation, the Senior Engineer - Firewall will be responsible for the implementation and support of firewall technologies. This involves new projects, deployment and maintenance of that platform.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our global team in the implementation, support and development of the firewalls.

• Responsible for incidents or tasks assigned through our operational queues.

• Assisting in the response to priority incidents and maintaining SLA's in the firewall and segmentation areas.

• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including collaboration with other teams or teammates.

• Operate in an emergency response rotation specifically in the firewall/Microsegmentation area

• Identify opportunities for and assist in the implementation of automation

• Ensure documentation is up to date and that all required documentation for policies, processes, and compliance exist within area of accountability

• Performing any other related duties prioritized by the Network Services Manager or Segmentation Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

• Experience in a complex, global engineering and manufacturing organization preferred

• High level of understanding in the network and firewall fields

• Experience in project managing small to mid-sized projects

• 3+ years' experience hands on support and troubleshooting of networks

• Proficient in Palo Alto, Panorama, Python, SolarWinds network configuration manager (NCM), Azure

• Experience with Microsegmentation a plus.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 11,416 to 14,266 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
