As a Quality Specialist you will perform a variety of quality assurance responsibilities to ensure Westinghouse Corporate QEHS processes, products and services meet quality (regulatory, statutory) and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. You will develop and execute quality activities that support management system activities, corrective action issue analysis and resolution, quality program audits & assessments, and third-party interface activities
You will report to the Senior Director of Global Quality and be located at Poland office. This role is hybrid with minimum 2 days at office.
Responsibilities:

Participate at various Westinghouse locations as an auditor in internal quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes and standards with future expectations to obtain lead auditor certification.

Initiate and perform Corrective Action Program efforts, including issue owner, causal analysis, corrective action implementation, IRC coordination efforts as assigned

Perform causal analysis using industry tools like 8D, 3L5W, Fishbone, etc.

Support efforts associated with revising Corporate Quality procedures, coordinating document management processes, implementing archival and retention requirements for quality assurance documentation

Coordinate simple projects, which encompass multi-functional areas.

Monitor progress and work to achieve established quality objectives within schedule constraints.

Prepare data reports, presentations, and organizational metrics for leadership evaluation if requested.

Participate in the review and scoring efforts associated with quality metrics.

Support coordination activities associated with third-party inquiries and audits, including government regulatory agencies, customers, industry entities and registrars.

Provide input and support to corporate quality processes activities associated with such as associated with management review, self-assessments, procedure revision process, operating experience, etc.

Support efforts associated with quality records management Coordinate simple projects, which encompass multi-functional areas.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required preferably in a technical area

A minimum of 3 years of work experience in quality or a technical role is required.

Proficient in Speaking and Writing in English is required

Experience working in quality, engineering, or operations groups associated with nuclear or other regulated industry.

Availability to travel globally (15-20% travel associated with position)

Experience in taking initiative to propose solutions, plan work, and set priorities while proactively identifying risks.

Willingness to seek clarification of assignments, ask for support, and communicate barriers associated with work assignments.

Knowledge and use of causal analysis tools (i.e. 5-why, 3L5W, barrier analysis, etc.) is a benefit

Takes accountability for decisions and actions.

Capable of learn QA policies and procedures in order to communicate to internal personnel and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers as it relates to Westinghouse quality related products and services.

Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations, familiarity with NQA-1, ASQ Auditing Certification would be an asset
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
