As a SPE Supplier Management Specialist you will be responsible for managing Supplier performance with respect to planning, production, and on-time delivery. To effectively manage performance, Supplier Management Specialist will collaborate with Suppliers to monitor production using different tools to achieve its goal.
You will be part of the organization that interface with the material and production planning teams to ensure alignment between Westinghouse production needs and Suppliers plans to fulfill their commitments. You will partner with Supplier Performance Engineers to identify and resolve Supplier challenges. You will report to Senior Manager, Supplier Manufacturing Operations.
This is a hybrid role - 2 days per week in the Kraków office, the remaining days remote.
Responsibilities:

Build positive supplier engagement through the effective application of manufacturing operations theory, including material management and SIOP principles.

Ensure on-time, in full deliveries by creating proactive habits with Suppliers

Lead the Supplier SIOP process, establishing capacity plans against current demand and understanding material requirements

Analyze logistics and operations with an eye for optimization

Build effective working-level relationships with other departments that impact supplier processes - Manufacturing, Assembly, Production, Inspection, and Shipping

Lead process improvements and gathering demand inputs

Execute the Supplier Evaluation Process through resources

Monitor and proactively address trends and apply structured problem solving actions
Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent Technical Degree

Fluent knowledge of English language

+3 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, or Materials Management with demonstrated experience managing Suppliers and Supply Chains.

Knowledge of materials management fundamentals: Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, SIOP, Rough Cut Capacity Planning.

Experience in area of Supply Chain Design, Supplier Management, Program Management, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing or Quality Systems.

Availability to travel 25% domestic and internationally.

Operations Shopfloor Experience in Machining / Fabrication would be an asset

Knowledge of Structured Problem Solving with: 8D, 9-Block, Fishbone would be an asset

Quality systems with experience in process capability and control (CpK), and layered metrics feeding a PPM Pareto (Parts per Million), Layered Process Audit
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 11,416 to 14,266 PLN gross per month.
In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
