As a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer Lead, you will lead Supply Chain Engineering activities. These activities include welding, large fabrication (modules, pipe), machining, and mechanical assembly manufacturability. Additionally, you will provide input to the design process, develop processes within the supply base, and resolve supplier issues.
You will report to the Senior Supplier Performance Engineering Manager. This position is fully remote and involves up to 50% travel, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:

Work with Product Engineering to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated to support suppliers.

Conduct shop-floor walkthroughs and lead technical assessments of suppliers for manufacturing capability, capacity, process controls, compliance with applicable regulations, codes and standards, and associated risks.

Lead supplier development and qualification activities for new products (e.g., identification of project risks and mitigating actions, managing project schedules, approval of supplier process documents, process capability analyses, measurement system analyses).

Lead cost reduction activities within the supply base.

Lead complex issue recovery efforts.

Maintain industry-leading knowledge through training, research, process councils.

Mentor members of the Supplier Performance Engineering teams.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or higher in Engineering

Minimum 10-years Manufacturing Engineering experience at manufacturing operations (ASME Section IX; AWS D1.1, D1.4, D1.6 welding; NDE).

Minimum 5-years of experience in the nuclear industry

Experience with Commercial Grade Dedication requirements (desired).

Experience with non-destructive examinations (PT, MT, UT, RT) and material testing desired.

Professional Certifications: Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), Certified Weld Inspector (CWI), ASNT Level III, or equivalent experience and a development plan to pursue.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17,000 to 21,225 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
