About the role:
As a Instrumentation and Control Maintenance Instructor, you will participate in all stages of the training process (SAT). These stages include analysis and development of initial and training courses. The training is for personnel at the Asco and Vandellos nuclear power plant, and it takes place in different training environments, such as the classroom, plant, on line, and others. This is a full-time job.
You will report to the Training School Supervisor and be located at the training school of ANAV in Hospitalet de L'Infant. This is an on-site position.
Main Responsibilities:
- During the initial training period, you will be qualify as an Instrumentation and Control Maintenance Instructor for PWR technology plants.
- Once qualified, you will work as Instrumentation and Control Maintenance Instructor.
- You will perform both training and Consulting and Technical Support tasks for electric power generating plants.
- The team will integrate you into a work team, with autonomy, in constant communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Graduates of a Bachelor or Master's degree in scientific-technical specialties like Engineering (electronic, electrical, industrial, automatization and control, nuclear...)
- Pedagogical capacity for training.
- Availability to establish residence in Hospitalet de l'Infant (Work Center) or nearby.
- English level B1.2.
- Availability to participate in other Westinghouse projects in the domestic or international area.
- Driver's license and availability of own vehicle.
- We will assess the following:
- 1+ year of experience in Nuclear Technology, automation, PLCs and automatic control.
- Train in electronics, control systems, signals, sensors and detectors.
- Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video editing tools.
- 1+ years of experience in power plants or industrial facilities.
- English level above B2.
- Availability to travel and stay in national and international locations during participation in projects sporadically.
