The Advanced Passive (AP) Technology Deployment organization is seeking a Lead Engineer in support of exciting New Plant opportunities. 

This Lead Engineer will support Westinghouse International new build market development and capture.  

The AP Technology Deployment organization missions are:  

• The integration of Global Engineering Services input in support of new build offers 

• The management of Global Engineering Services scope for programs aiming at improving the International marketability and the delivery of AP1000 projects worldwide 

• The lead and integration of Global Engineering Services scope in support of new build market development, early works and FEED contracts (up to the establishment of a project-specific org) 

• The development of International Project Engineering resources in support of future new build projects (up to the establishment of a project-specific org) 

This is a unique position that will be responsible for interacting with Functional Area Stakeholders to solve technical challenges and guide work towards achievement of project goals and objectives.  The target applicant is high-performing, self-starting, solution-oriented and looking to continue leadership skill development. 

Specific responsibilities will be as follows: 

• Accountable/Responsible for early works project technical leadership, guidance, major project technical decisions, etc.

• Supports the responsible Project Engineering Managers for the internal and external communication on the projects assigned to them

• Supports the responsible Project Engineering Manager for technical related needs throughout the project 

• Propose ideas and lead the execution of personnel development activities

What we need to see from you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering  (Master’s degree preferred)

• Previous experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred 

• Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to +/- 30% for peak times) 

• Effective oral and written communications 

• Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas 

• Minimum 10 years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
