General Fuctions:
Develop and implement product strategy for Westinghouse Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Field and Installation Services. Work with customer facing organizations and integrate competitive and market intelligence to develop I&C solutions with strong customer value propositions. Achieve financial performance by shaping product architecture and market strategy to secure order entry backlog and maximize profitability.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):
Commercial lead for all I&C opportunities and offers, including but not limited to I&C Installation Projects, Field Maintenance, Tech/Electrical Support (Staff aug, seconded labor and managed tasks).
Lead proposal development team and oversee complex negotiations with customers to obtain contracts which contribute significant profit margin and revenue growth. Effectively manage contract changes with support from the operations/delivery team.
Analyze contract requirements and develop project-specific deliverables to enable successful program implementation and to enhance customer satisfaction. Analyze needs and develop unique customer solutions to address customer concerns.
Orchestrate and drive profitable product or service growth which meets or exceeds revenue and margin objectives.
Support in development of innovative solutions to create customer value in collaboration with appropriate Westinghouse organizations. Identify unmet customer needs through appropriate market channels especially direct customer interaction. Develop and successfully implement product business plan – considering “breakthrough” technologies and cost improvement objectives.
Maximize financial contributions to ensure product viability. Aggregate margin-as-delivered should be greater than or equal to the product-specific objective from financial plan. Financial forecasting should provide accurate assessment of financial timing and results.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:
Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business or related field.
Years of Experience (if applicable): 10 – 15 years of experience
Existing customer relationships and industry credibility in I&C Field Services a plus.
Professional Certifications: Background in I&C Basic Services as well as digital upgrades is preferred but not required.
