As a Lead Analyst, OSS Program Management, you will be responsible for executing innovative and optimized business and data analytics aligned with the OSS program strategy.  This includes but is not limited to the book to bill life cycle master data, rate management processes, special projects, Business/IT transformation initiatives, and Systems/IT design, testing, and validation.  You will lead the analysis, design and implementation of technology solutions that support OSS business objectives.  This role also acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT partner teams, ensuring that data and/or application requirements are clearly defined, documented, and delivered effectively.

 

Similarly, you will act as a trusted partner both internally and externally interpreting our data and insights to drive strategic decisions and deliver recommendations based on the data and processes that optimize business processes, support reporting and other advanced technology capabilities and foster collaboration.  You will act as a SME across all our program areas and provide deep analyst support as required.

 

This critically important role requires strong oversight of financial, technical, contractual, and resource commitments with ultimate accountability to deliver projects in a safe, high-quality, profitable manner, leading to stakeholder satisfaction.

 

You will report to the Lead Program Manager of AOMS Transformation. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Systems IT Projects and Transformation Initiatives.
    • Analyze organizational information challenges, current processes, and procedures. Recommend and implement new processes and/or enhancements that improve system efficiency, productivity, consistency controls and protocols across the organization.
    • Orchestrate and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate and document business requirements for IT applications.
    • Validate enhancements to ensure the functionalities via testing
    • Provide user support, investigate and resolve issues of IT interfaces and applications as required.
  • Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, business systems/IT integrations/interfaces, creating actionable insights, requirements, and designs contributing to OSS related business decisions.

      • Master Data Management (MDM)
      • Rate Management
        • Fringe and Pay Rates / Union Rates
        • Labor Relations Audit Support
      • Time and Pay Data
      • Invoicing Data
      • Compliance Reporting
      • Prevailing Wage, Tax incentive / rebate …
    • Strategic Initiatives support
      • PowerBI dashboard and reporting development
      • S&OP business analytics support (FSRP / Demand Planning)
    • Ensure safety and quality are the primary focus on all project activities
    • Develop and lead a robust method to support both OSS program areas and WEC IT Departments
    • Own select critical issues and drive to closure while reporting accordingly at various levels
    • Own select strategic initiatives and provide expertise and guidance on Business Systems/IT best practices
    • Ensure strategic initiatives are properly staffed (by matrixed resources), managed, and tracked accordingly to ensure progress

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required, technical degree preferred but not required
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in leading large, complex data analytics and design, overseeing Business/IT Projects and ensuring accurate business requirements identification, data needs, quality and consistency across an organization's systems and interfaces
    • Technical leadership experience may be considered in lieu of direct project management experience
  • Demonstrated accountability for results while working in a highly independent lead position
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills in evaluation and interpreting end user information requirements, trouble shooting, problem solving data extraction.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft® Office tools, and Power BI is desired
  • Some travel (estimate to be up to 10%) may be required for this position to customer sites, vendor facilities, or various Westinghouse facilities outside the home office
  • Willingness to support outside of typical hours (nights, weekends) occasionally to support critical issues emerging at customer sites

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800.00 to $146,000.00 per year.
