As a Principal Engineer on the Reactor Component Upgrades and Major Programs team, you will participate in project preparation and execution at various nuclear facilities. Tooling preparation, checkouts, training development support, training delivery and engineering support are but a few of the diverse demands of the position.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Reactor Component Upgrades and Major Programs and will be based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualified Radiological Worker familiar with contamination avoidance techniques.

Formal training in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering are desired

Demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to equipment issues
-
Demonstrated ability to provide “hands on” repairs of equipment
-
Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
-
Demonstrated ability to assume increased level of responsibility and leadership as knowledge level improves
-
Demonstrated reliability to support demanding /flexible work schedules in a consistent manner
-
Interview based demonstration of interpersonal skills and ability to meld with the RCUMP Group

Willing to take ownership of challenges and customer focused.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or related technical discipline
-
5 years of experience as a Technician/Specialist leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects.

3 years of project engineering support and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role may be considered

Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants. Familiarity with utility business practices including knowledge of utility operations, maintenance and engineering practices, knowledge of procurement processes and material management
