Your Day-to-Day:
-
Evaluation and Response to customer questions regarding fuel assembly and core component performance and acceptability

Perform evaluations of Rod Control Cluster Assemblies for anticipated wear and lifetime.

Performing (and leading) Post Irradiated Examinations (PIE) of Fuel Assemblies and Core Components

Serve as the main point of contact between Product Performance Engineering and our Asia Fuel Delivery team and Chinese customers.

Ability to work with diverse teams of technicians, engineers, and other professionals to plan and execute projects on schedule and within budget

Support evaluations of our products exposed to fuel handling incidents at customer sites

Track performance of Fuel products and maintain performance databases.

Support of the CFFF on issues related to product performance

Support of Westinghouse Reactor Services on issues related to fuel handling and inspections.

Must be able to maintain unescorted access to customer sites
-
Travel (domestic and international) up to 30%.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.) or related Discipline (e.g. Materials, etc.) preferred or recognized equivalent required

Minimum 5 years of engineering experience

Ability to converse in Mandarin and interpret between Mandarin and English during technical meetings is a plus (not required).

Fuel Performance, Fuel Design, or Field Service (work at customer sites) related experience is a plus

Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills and comfortable leading meetings and developing and delivering presentations

Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment

Ability to travel to customer sites; ability to maintain Unescorted Access Authorization for operating nuclear facilities.
