Conventional Logistics Manager

About the role:

As a Logistics Category Manager you will develop and implement the global category management strategy for all global supply chain 'non-nuclear' logistics activities supporting all Westinghouse businesses.

Activities will focus on spend analysis, cost management, goals, contract management, supplier performance and the management of at least 3 direct reports.

You will report to the Manager, Logistics and Other Services Category and be located in Sweden or in Spain.

Model of work: remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 3 direct reports who will be Category Managers, providing support and knowledge and building team capability across multiple sub-categories and across at least 3 global locations in Europe, North America and Asia
• Lead team projects and goals
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Westinghouse non nuclear logistics providers
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of our Global Logistics Sustainability Program
• Build and manage a safe, compliant and diverse, supplier base, conduct risk assessments and lead supplier performance optimization
• Collaborate with supplier executive leadership and company partners
• Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and prices with supply base ensuring compliance with Westinghouse customer flow-down requirements
• Maintain deep category expertise by managing industry trends, best practices, industry indices, and geopolitical impacts
• Develop Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plans
• Improve annual cost savings projects to meet targets
• Conduct on-site visits to suppliers, onboard new suppliers

Qualifications:

• Benchmark, Market Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, Data Analytics and Category Management skills
• 5+ years of experience with vendor management logistics management and supplier contract administration
• People manager experience, partners management experience
• Competences to amicably and smoothly resolve disputes with suppliers
• Experience maintaining long term productive relationship with suppliers
