Decommiccioning Planning Engineer

Job Responsibilities *

Licensing and Planning support during decommissioning and dismantling activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities.

Support in the groundwater modelling and analysis within decommissioning activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities.

Understanding of the radiological characterization, segmentation techniques, in-plant materials lifting, handling, sorting and packaging according to the nuclear requirements.

Working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and, in field, supervising execution activities.

Working on the projects in Europe (mainly in Spain) however there may be a chance to work for Japan, Korea and USA as well. 

Minimum Requirements (education, years of experience, certifications, etc.) *

Education at university level in engineering or science.

Additional training or specialization in the nuclear field would be valuable.

Some experience on nuclear facilities decommissioning processes is required.

Groundwater science knowledge in decommissioning environments would be a benefit.

Good writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English is required, German would be a benefit.
