About the role:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for all phases in the project management process on low to moderate complexity projects within the department Engineered Solutions.

This covers projects supporting safe and efficient operation of existing Nuclear Power Plants.

You will report to the Manager Project Portfolio Engineering and be located at Madrid.

Hybrid work schedule.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead small sized team, which may include project controls.

  • Support proposal process for low to moderate complexity projects, as assigned.

  • Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Support customer negotiations.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion as well as identify opportunities for additional business growth.

  • Understand contract requirements to enable successful project implementation.

  • Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.

  • Maintain good working relationships with the customer.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required; Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business valuable.

  • 2+ years of experience as project manager leading and directing low complexity projects to successful completion – alternatively a background as Technical Lead within projects and having an ambition to develop into Project Management

  • Ability to lead team members; develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned.

  • Knowledge of project scheduling and cost management.

  • Fluent in Spanish with good English skills
