About the role:

You will report to the Manager, Computer Aided Engineering and be located at Mannheim

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support offers with concept designs in plant layout
  • Organize and support 3D design reviews
  • E3D Catalog Software (AVEVA)
  • Create E3D catalog elements with parameter for Company and project use
  • Create pipe-, steel- , structure- catalog parts, Bolt specs, fitting elements and more
  • Develop solutions for vendor catalog addons or extensions
  • Resolve problems and failures from catalog parts
  • E3D Software (AVEVA) – 2D- Drafter
  • 2D- Drafter for several types of plant layout drawings, general layout drawing, detail layout drawing, pipe isometric drawing
  • Develop experience to train employees on new technologies

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in plant layout engineering / design
  • AVEVA certificates of DESIGN, Catalogue work (E3D) if available.
  • Basic skills in programming
  • Very good English language skills, Proficient in German
  • Open communication to the team members.
