Materials and Tooling Coordinator

About the role:
As a Materials and Tooling Coordinator, you will be responsible for Warehouse operation and Logistics at our Manning, SC facility. You will report to the Warehouse Lead. This is an anchor job that is required on site 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the order fulfillment process, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Ensure that all communication is sent to the full team for any request.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately to meet internal and external customer expectations.
- Handle/supervise the loading of outbound shipments, verifying proper packaging and labeling.
- Collaborate with carriers and couriers to schedule outbound shipments.
- Implement effective shipment tracking and reporting systems to monitor delivery performance.
- Manage international shipments though the logistics team.
- Manage assets and equipment, including asset tracking
- Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications
- Receive and verify incoming shipments
- Keep records of inventory and shipments
- Keep the warehouse clean and safe
- Work with the storeroom lead to complete all parts department cycle counts.
- Work with different departments to fulfill needs throughout the warehouse
- Be able to operate forklifts and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Receive returns from projects, ensures all assets are accounted for and separated from consumables.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete all required training materials, attend all scheduled storeroom meetings.
- Coordinate logistics for the delivery of product, maintain inventories, keeping operating records, and prepare daily record of transactions.
- Help to ensure compliance of established security, customer service and record keeping policies and procedures.
- Generate reports and performance metrics related to warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and logistics KPIs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience driving a forklift, if certified and applicable, hand truck and pallet jack.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $46,176.00 to $57,720.00 per year.
